​Vertigo is a very common condition, but it can be difficult to assess and to treat. It was with this in mind that a German consortium developed the headphone-based EQUIVert biofeedback system. It is claimed to be able to make the condition easier to understand, and to cure.

The stethoscope has remained mostly unchanged for quite a long time. Colorado-based Thinklabs Medical, however, is out to change that. The company recently announced its One digital stethoscope, that can electronically amplify chest sounds by over 100x, and analyze that audio via a smartphone app.

Wear looks like a regular necklace, but with a built-in high-fidelity analog microphone it is designed to also act as a hearing aid and help users follow conversations in noisy environments by filtering out unwanted noise.
